Benefits of Meditation

The infographic was based on a study about how meditation can help you to improve your cardiovascular health and lower the risk of high cholesterol, blood pressure, the risk of stroke, artery coronary decease, diabetes type 2, etc. I choose this topic for my infographic because I was having some issued with my heart and a doctor in the hospital tell me that if I can try meditating to lower my heart palpitation while the result of my test at the hospital comes out. After I was doing the exercise of just focusing on every breath, I was my own witness of how my palpitation were lower than before I started it.

With this infographic that I made I intent to convince people that you can be improving your cardiovascular health just doing meditation. Meditation can help you in many ways like lowering your stress levels, anxiety, and others thing. There is a real study about meditation that prove that meditation can be your best friend helping you to have a better healthy life. So, I can say that my infographic was informational with a mix of statistical that I used to put the percent of the people that was doing better because they were meditating. I choose that kind of infographic because it was easy for me to display the information in that way and y did 2 pages just in case that I print it, It’s going to be just one sheet with the graphics at the front and the information for where it comes at the back. Later, on my presentation I learn that I could do it everything and one page.

The infographic about benefits of meditation is for everybody because the early in your life that you start doing habits the better it would be in the future for you. The purpose of this was to reach the people and tell them that no everything relays on medication, you don’t need to be sick to start meditating you can meditate like people do yoga, gym, and you can improve your health.

There was not any accessibility issue that make me change my infographic because I start doing what the professor shows me in class and the videos that she said to watch were very helpful. I hope the audience can give it another thought to this infographic and give it a try just one try and see if your mind is the same after that. Also I choose passive color because I think they go well with meditation, when you are meditating your conscious is more clear.
