Self-Reflection

The lab report that I choose are related to my major Civil Engineering and to what I want to be doing in the future, bridges. The first lab that I read and analyze to work in this rhetorical analysis give me a better idea of what I would need to be doing in the future. I learn new words that are associated to bridges when they are in maintenance, building, and design. I learn how doing some test on bridges can affect them too.

For the second lab report that I choose it was a bit different because that report has the purpose of creating a program that can help you to analyze the conditions of the bridges in a better healthy way than other methods. The second lab have too many world that I did not understand because is a lab report that explain what the software purpose is, and detail the step and different variables that they put in the software.

While I was doing this rhetorical analysis to compare 2 different labs report I learn that not all the lab report has the same elements of a lab report. The second report does not have acknowledgement, materials, discussion, nor Appendix. But the first lab report has all the typical element that contains a lab report. Doing the second lab report was a little bit difficult reading because it has to much term that on the programming science but even if it was difficult, I like how the software can help in a healthier way to test in what conditions are the bridges.
